Otolaryngologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Health System in Central Maine

A health system is seeking an otolaryngologist for locum tenens coverage.While in Central Maine, visit the Abbe Museum or Acadia National Park!The schedule for this position is from 7:45 AM to 4 PM in the clinic Monday through Friday, with the surgical center operating on Thursdays from 8 AM to 5 PM. The clinic sees approximately 20 patients per day, with 5-7 surgeries scheduled. The patient mix consists of 70% adults and 30% pediatric cases, with a distribution of 60% clinic and 40% surgical patients. Surgical requirements include the use of two Karl Storz endoscopy towers, a selection of adult and pediatric flexible laryngoscopy scopes, and various rigid scopes (0 degree and 30 degree). The facility is equipped with four microscopes for ear exams and procedures, and each room has an ENT cart with an internal suction machine for tasks such as ear cleanings and postoperative sinus debridement. The support staff includes one APP, one MA, and one patient service representative.
