Gastroenterologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Multi-Specialty Hospital in Central Michigan

A multi-specialty hospital is seeking a gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage.There are many places to visit while on assignment in Central Michigan! Take a trip to Belle Isle Park, Mackinac Island, or the Detroit Zoo!The schedule will be 8 hours of hospital coverage onsite, and 16 hours of unrestricted call (may need to come into the hospital while on call). The call schedule will be 4:00pm - 8:00am, unrestricted call. The EMR system is Epic. The facility has an onsite lab and X-ray. The required procedures include Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), and Upper GI Endoscopy: Diagnostic, Therapeutic with Biopsy and with Foreign Body Removal. Credentialing takes 30 - 60 days.
